$ git clone git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/fs/ext2/e2fsprogs.git "This is the new version (1.42.3) of the second extended file system management programs" We've a 100TB ext4 file system running under RH EL 5.8 on a HPC server and has proven to be stable and fast. But lets say on a Oracle database server I guess we also would stay on the safe side.
