Well, the KVM host has listed itself also as ::1 (not done by me), but when doing "host" with its own name, it only gives back the IPv4 address (strange???). On the guest, /etc/hosts only contains localhost* names. Now I removed the ::1 entry from the KVM host's /etc/hosts, but the guests (both RHEL6 and F15 guest) continue giving back also ::1 as address. So, it looks a bit confusing and inconsistent... -- -- Jos Vos <[email protected]> -- X/OS Experts in Open Systems BV | Phone: +31 20 6938364 -- Amsterdam, The Netherlands | Fax: +31 20 6948204 _______________________________________________ rhelv6-list mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/rhelv6-list
