An SL/CentOS-6 user reported success with EEEPC 901 using the rt2860sta driver from ELRepo: http://elrepo.org/tiki/kmod-rt2860sta EEEPC 900 might be different but it is worth checking by going to the FAQ: http://elrepo.org/tiki/FAQ section 4. "How can I find the right driver for my hardware" and find out if your device is supported.
