We have a need for a 24TB filesystem, I am using the SL xfsprogs package with kmod included in RHEL6.1. The xfs.org FAQ states the following tip:
"Q: I want to tune my XFS filesystems for <something> The standard answer you will get to this question is this: use the defaults..." Does anyone have any tips that go against this? We will be using this as an disk device for staging to tape, so it will be a lot of files of very varying sizes, most files should be read sequentially, but there will be reads and writes coming off the file-system at the same time so i might actually look pretty random... Thank you! -Ev _______________________________________________ rhelv6-list mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/rhelv6-list
