Hei, What is reason for that there is no more atheism in the Middle-East? There was arab socialism in form of baathism, third worldism and marxism-leninism more earlier? Most greatest fundamentalist supporter seems to be the USA historically. How you can judge if all the money goes those who benefit from inequal societies.
