Thanks guys for your quick and kind answer: I didn't know about those pages.

However, what about to create a new svn branch just for "open/in 
progress" plugins, like actually amsn[1] does? Obviously it would be not 
100% supported by the team, but it could be a good starting point to 
speed up their commit in /trunk.
