Can't you just hit alt-tab while holding your mouse button on the drag and drop it on your preferred window? Alternatively, you can click and drag the mouse and hold it over the netbook remix entry on the taskbar till that window is on top and then drop the songs.
Just a thought, I do this with album covers from chrome to rhythmbox.
