If you are compiling Rhythmbox yourself, you need the development packages installed for these libraries, such as glib-2.0 is libglib2.0-dev. However, I would suggest you to install a pre-compiled version, such as one found in https://launchpad.net/~webupd8team/+archive/rhythmbox
