I was wondering about whether it was appropriate to use @ViewScoped in a GAE
application -- I scanned for usages of @ViewScoped on other beans, and found it
was used elsewhere in the showcase before making this change.
I wasn't aware that GAE uses the faces-config.xml rather than the annotations -
thanks for pointing that out.
