RF 4.x : rich:dataTable column sort image in RF 3.x isn't handled anymore

We're in the process of evaluating RF 4.x for migration purposes.
When using rich:dataTable with sortOrder and sortBy :
* I don't see sort image anymore (ourks ugly).
* I must explicitely add a4j:commandLink in the header facet (didn't have to
do it in RF 3.x)
This issue appears to be a regression.
