Fab Mars commented on RF-11355:
-------------------------------
So I just bumped into this one too. I Have RF 4.1.0 on GF 3.1.2b23 + Seam Faces
3.1.0.
I'm quite frustrated because it took more or less 2 years to *fall* on a RF+GF
base that allowed me to upgrade my existing EE5 app to EE6 (regressions and
components not migrated from RF 3.3 to 4.0 and some annoying bugs on GF) and
just this issue is a showstopper for me now.
And it's hard to work around. The method given above didn't even work for me
yet. I see this issue was reported on RF 4.0 and is planned for RF 4.3. That
means somewhere between 2013 and never. I'd like to propose a patch but that
part is now way too complicated for someone not in the know.
Wouldn't it be possible to reschedule it earlier? Basically it makes popups
containing forms unusable and this is a big step back. I can provide an example
project at least.

> Hi,
> Sorry i don't speak very well english.
> I have a problem with a4j:commandButton in popupPanel.
> The first click doesn't work for action to commandButton but the first clic
> work. That doesn't work only in popupPanel.
> <a4j:commandButton value="Valid"
> action="#{beanManaged.valid}"
> id="validButton"
> render="modalPanelInfo, formCreate"
> />
> I think the problem is javax.faces.viewstate, beacause before the first clic
> doesn't have input hidden with javax.faces.viewstate but after the first clic
> i have input hidden with javax.faces.viewstate.
