I have reproduced this also on desktop showcase. Steps to reproduce:
1. Invoke context menu on the first
[sample|http://showcase.richfaces.org/richfaces/component-sample.jsf?demo=contextMenu&skin=blueSky]
with picture.
2. choose zoom in or zoom out (it does not matter which one) and do not move
with mouse
3. wait for re-rendering of the picture (1 sec.)
4. invoke again context menu
5. see that it is rendered for 1 sec and then dismiss
Note that this behavior is noticeable only when you will not move with mouse
after selecting the item from context menu, and then invoking it at the same
place. Otherwise it works at desktop showcase as expected.
On the other hand, the issue on mobile devices does not take into account what
place you invoke the context menu on.
