As reported, the ajax fails on [this
line|https://github.com/jboss/mojarra/blob/2.1.28-jbossorg-1/jsf-api/src/main/resources/jsf.js#L962].
In IE element.name is undefined, in FF and Chrome it's "". (That doesn't seem
to be the default state of IE, if you create a new element its name will be "")
