NO CAPTURED COALITION TROOPS KNOWN TO BE ALIVE The problem is that our enemies are going to do unspeakably inhumane things to our troops if they are captured regardless of how we treat terror suspects. There are no captured coalition troops known to be alive in Iraq or Afghanistan. Yet the media won't cover the events. Apparently Congressional Speaker Nancy Pelosi does not understand the mindset of these terrorist. Their sole purpose in life is to kill and maim infidels (which is what they consider anyone who isn't islamic) and they'll stop at nothing to do it. For us not to be willing to do anything to protect Americans is a show of weakness to our enemies. They are doing very inhumane things Abu Graib was not nearly as serious as what the terrorists are doing. It isn't an even trade or an eye for an eye. Obviously, the isolated incident of torture by a few American soldiers cannot compare to the torture and beheading by terrorists. They decapitate people and blow up little kids on buses and we're supposed to understand. We have a few idiots that put underwear on some guy's head and "Americans are evil, and are committing atrocities" and so on. There are a lot worse ways to torture someone than by putting panties on their heads. Panties on the head means nothing more than a fraternity hazing. Of course murdering contractors and soldiers is worse. When the Abu Graib scandal became known, newspaper web sites in Iraq, Pakistan and other Muslim countries merely mentioned that the U.S. government was investigating possible mistreatment of Iraqi prisoners. This seemed unimportant to muslims because they thought of torture as poking out eyes, cutting off body parts including heads, and inflicting much pain. The anti-war politicians in the U. S. saw this as an opportunity to smear the war effort, and proceeded to tout the Iraqis into believing they had been gravely harmed. No doubt this agitiated many insurgents into killing and crippling many more of our troops. Political power was more important than the lives of our troops or the reputation of our country. Waterboarding and other forms of discomfort are not bad enough for terrorists guilty of atrocities that disqualify them of being "prisoners of war". In any other war they would have been executed. Instead, some lame-brains want to bring them to the U.S. and pension them for life. TORTURE AL-QAEDA STYLE April 29, 2009 In a recent raid on an al-Qaeda safe house in Iraq, U.S. military officials recovered an assortment of crude drawings depicting torture methods like "blowtorch to the skin" and "eye removal". Along with the images, soldiers seized various torture implements, like meat cleavers, whips, and wire cutters. The images, which were just declassified by the Department of Defense, also include a picture of a ramshackle Baghdad safe house described as an "al-Qaeda torture chamber". It was there, during an April 24 raid, that soldiers found a man suspended from the ceiling by a chain. According to the military, he had been abducted from his job and was being beaten daily by his captors. In a raid earlier this week, Coalition Forces freed five Iraqis who were found in a padlocked room in Karmah. The group, which included a boy, were reportedly beaten with chains, cables, and hoses. RIGHTS OF TERRORISTS In my humble opinion, the terrorist in Iraq and elsewhere have NO civil rights, no rights under the Geneva Conventions, etc. They do not recognize any civil rights, the Geneva Conventions, or any other rules of land warfare, common decency, or anything else. They hide among the civilian population while conducting war from ambush. They place missile launchers, etc. adjacent to or on top of schools, hospitals, and apartments and if civilians are killed or injured fighting them, the propaganda machine of the Arab states goes into high gear about how the nasty Americans, etc. are killing and wounding "innocent" civilians. For some reason, when Al-Qaida, Hamas, the Taliban, etc. massacre civilians (which is every day) nothing is said about these victims being "innocent". And, they use mosques for ammo dumps, headquarters for their operations, and to recruit more terrorist to kill not only our people but innocent civilians to try and stop any development of the country toward a democratic form of government. My own "take" on the Abu Ghraib prison situation, etc. is that what we saw was humiliation, NOT torture. Torture is removing fingernails and toenails, applying electric current to the genitals, ears, etc., and other tactics to learn information. It's a sad day when out troops are forced to fight an enemy like nothing they have ever faced, plus having to deal with the political correctness of the leftist. --Mel Young, Westminster, CA For free Politically Incorrect news ignored by the American news media, send your friends' email addresses for REAL NEWS from [email protected]. * Shout Out * To any one organizng a Tea Party.
