Voters from across the state are gathering in Springfield to voice their disappointment in our elected leadership. When local, state and federal governments are unable to pay their bills, it is time to rein in spending and make the difficult decisions necessary to remain solvent. Tax payers are doing their part by cutting back unnecessary expenses in their household budgets and expect their representatives to do the same. At a time when everyone is experiencing difficulties making ends meet, IL legislators and Governor Quinn have decided to charge recklessly down the road to financial insolvency by increasing spending and and digging even deeper into the pockets of already struggling tax payers. The Sauk Valley Tea Party has organized a bus trip to the rally which will depart from the Dixon Walmart parking lot at 7:15 am on April 15. We expect to return to Dixon around 6:30pm. We still have seats available for any voters from the Sauk Valley Area who are interested in joining us. The cost is only $20 per person and must be paid in advance.
