I have been reporting on the cases concerning Barack’s eligibility from the day Hillary’s lawyer Phil Berg brought the first case in 2008. I made up my mind a long time ago, but maybe there’s more to the story. First clue. The lack of interest by the SCOTUS has been curious, to say the least. On the few occasions that the SCOTUS entertained the idea, the vote was 6 - 3 opposed to hearing the merits of the case. That’s strange in that a casual observer would think the 4 conservatives would have provided the votes to sate their appetite. One explanation is that when Obama paid Chief Justice John Roberts a rare visit just before the first vote was taken, he told him something to change his mind. It is uncanny that the Court that has no regrets about turning science on it’s ear making carbon dioxide, CO2, a pollutant, would refuse to hear the most important case of the century. What if Obama told Roberts his real father was Frank Marshall Davis, a US citizen, and not Barack Obama, Sr? 2nd clue. It is true that any decision, if they were to make one, would leave Obama in the White House. According to the Constitution that liberals scoff at, the Judiciary’s only role in an impeachment would be for the Chief Justice to reign over the trial in the Senate. If they ruled in the Court, it would be hard for the Chief Justice to also hear the case in the Senate, would it not? Clue #3. So, what the Dickens is Taitz, Donofrio, Kerchner, etc hope to accomplish thru their cases which ultimately end up in the SCOTUS? If the SCOTUS declared Obama a usurper, certainly he would resign or face charges in the House. The problem remains the Senate. No way would the DemocrRat majority allow one of their own to be convicted. But what if Boehner chose to hear the Impeachment case Vs Obama a month before the election on CSPAN? What if they strung out the case until Jan 2012, when the new Senate was seated? Would that work? Probably not, but if it did, every law, every XO he issued would be null and void. Every one of his 40-something czars would be gone and everything they did would be undone. The UAW might even lose their ill-begotten share of Govt Motors and Chrysler. Planned Parenthood would have to pay back fedl funding; there’d be no Obamacare; Obama’s Army would be disbanded, drilling in the Gulf would resume, the EPA’s anti-energy onerous dictates would disappear from the books, bailouts would turn into Accounts Receivable, the Obama’s would owe a lot of plane fare---and the economy would be on the road to recovery. Ah, it’s nice to dream. Don’t pinch me. Of course there’s other not-so-nice options, such as a peaceful revolution, dividing up the country based on political philosophy, or thru the same necessary violence the nation was created. Either of which is better than succumbing to the Marxist style socialism now in our future. But while we’re playing make believe, there’s still one more option. One that doesn’t require violence; one that’s perfectly legal. One which was successfully implemented in 1787. It’s called the Article V solution. If Obama survives the election, or even if he doesn’t, the States could have the last option to save the Republic and our American traditions—assuming We the People are up to the job and not full of baloney. “The Congress, whenever two-thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this constitution, or on the application of the legislatures of two-thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several states…” Article V, Constitution of the United States.
