I have posted a new tri fold flyer to my web site that anyone can use in any state to educate as many people as possible. The current trend towards an opt out is a temporary Band Aid that does not cure the problem of people suffering terribly from EMF sensitivity or drowning us in electrosmog. It does not strike a blow against Agenda 21. Why? Because unless tens of millions "opt out", there will still be 200 million installed by 2015. This is unacceptable. More Americans would opt out if they only had the truth - the one thing utility companies and their contract installers do not want to see happen. This is an American issue, not a partisan one nor strictly an environmental one. It's one where we can all work towards the same goal because our health, our children's health and future generations, our pets, livestock and they very air we breathe depends on us winning this war against utility companies who bought poison and have been trying to sell it off as roses. There are many, many web sites now on those meters. And, while some of them mean well, we have to be careful about facts vs second and third hand "lifts" from web pages. Just saying those meters causes this or that without a first hand source can hurt. Our enemies will pick apart anything they can. The reason I put the flyer in the 'smart' meter section on my site is because my columns on the meters are there. They are comprehensive and contain enough source reference material to convince even the most die hard skeptic some is very wrong with 'smart' meters. I will be doing an update soon on our case, but this past week I've been under the gun with legal issues that had to be taken care of pronto. Dealing with regulatory bodies is a nightmare. I've seen a few other flyers, and, again, while I know people are trying very hard to reach out with factual information, some of the flyers are filled with single spaced text, double sided and a half dozen web sites a mile long. People are pressed for time. They aren't going to sit at a computer and type out long URLs. We tried to keep ours simple and easy to read while giving people verifiable facts. I also want to say that people here in Texas have had their power turned off with no notice for locking up their analog meter so a TDSP (installer) can't get to it. Those who post do not trespass or do not install a smart meter are simply ignored by installers. What's going on here in Texas is criminal while our Public Utility Commission allows it to continue and our state reps say, "we're not in session". Well, stay tuned because this fight is just gearing up (non violently, of course) because we do have the law on our side and we are far from finished despite set backs. Today I had 200 of my new tri fold flyer printed up at Kinko's, double sided. Kinko's machines fold them into a tri fold. If that's a little more than you might wish to pay, you can fold each one by hand. The front side has the 'smart' meter. The other side has the page with only one column on the right of the page. This is an inexpensive way for us to reach every Texan (or your state) with the truth. I'm going to give them to businesses in my little town who know me as well as mail outs. And, to my neighbors. A little knock on their door. If everyone does ten and gives them to ten people asking them to do the same, before you know it, we will have tens of thousands of them distributed throughout the state. Any event you attend where you can, hand them out. Maybe a gun show, a county fair, tea party meeting, committee meetings for your party and so forth. Family members, folks you know in business. Please, don't put in anyone's mail box as that is a federal offense. Only officially stamped US mail can legally be put in a mail box. Sigh. Please don't put them on windshields of people's cars. Shopping centers will then contact me with threats about handing out flyers on their private property. Don't need that! Next week, we hope to get one flyer with a cover letter to every newspaper, tv station and talk radio in this state. Boost public awareness and keep this issue in front of everyone. The flyer doesn't print out too well off the computer, so put it on a flash drive and then go to the printer. While I'm not too tech savvy, I think you can probably download it to a CD and take that to a printer. This is something we can all do and reach many.
