Transitioning the USA for the better We the People put 1.2 million people on their lawn on July 4th, 2008, followed by another 800,000 a few months later---and the only response was a pile of cronies led by Speaker Pelosi plowing thru our ranks. You'd think the TEA Party would be welcomed to Congress by the new majority, but you'd be wrong. Landslide victories at the polls in 2010 must be repeated this November at all levels of govt from dog catcher to president, coast-to-coast. There's no doubt that the Constitution has been shredded beyond recognition. It's been trampled to death by all 3 branches of govt. The embedded bureaucrats have to go. I do see 2 possible steps that could avoid blood shed. 1. Impeachment with his eligibility the focus; he must be found guilty of usurpation. If possible the House should take hearings after the election. The final vote should be taken in the first few days of 2013, at which time the Senate would convene their trial with conviction before he leaves office Jan 20. If convicted everything with Obama's name as president on it would be immediately be null and void. If he leaves office "honorably" it'll take years to undue his damage. This is as good as it gets. 2. The other alternative would be to convene a convention in accordavce with Article V of the Constitution. A lot of fear tactics of a "runaway convention" etc is a pile of huey because super majorites are reqired in both steps, 2/3 by Congress which would then require ratification by 3/4 of the states. That's as safe as it gets. Our Founding Fathers were not a bunch of stupidos. We can build on their successes. Failing that, it's whether the revolution will be peaceful as in the old USSR, or the one in this country experience 236 years ago. Thc choice is theirs. I do note that the USG is currently stocking up on hollow shelled amunition. You gotta wonder why. For more info, join [email protected] or contact me at [email protected] for an invitation.
