REMEMBER BILL CLINTON IN NOVEMBER Did you smile when you saw/heard Bill Clinton address the DNC. I did. I remembered that he wasn’t my favorite president and that I didn’t vote for him. I remembered that he was found guilty in a case involving Paula something. There was also an incident with a woman named Juanita Broadderick, if memory serves. And there was that woman he hit on while her hubby was comitting suicide. Oh yeah, there was a Texas stripper he hired to be a typist in a state job when he was Guv. And of course, everyone remembers he was impeached by the House. Not much more. Sorta makes a joke outta who is at war with women, don't it? Well, in the wee hours this morning, I was listening to the Mark Levin radio show from yesterday. I recommend it to all. THIS IS MUST READ FOR ANYBODY THAT DOESN’T HAVE A PHOTOGRAPH MIND. HOW MUCH OF WHAT HAPPENED IN HIS TERM CAUSED PROBLEMS WE HAVE NOT YET SOLVED TODAY. REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER Sept 5 http://www.marklevinshow.com/home.asp Last Jan I had a triple-by pass heart surgery. Since then, I had a problem getting signed up at a Cardiac Rehab because my GP, aka Primary doctor, skipped town. I missed a deadline under a new rule that became effective in Jan, but my cardiologist got it straightened out. Generally, I’ve been going to the rehab out-patient 3 days a week. Lately, with my wife on her death bed, I backed off to 2 times a week. (As you may know, My Peggy passed last month.) I missed a few more days as a result. I still have 3 sessions to complete my cardiac rehab therapy. Today when I went in, I was told my insurance (Medicare Advantage) had a deadline that expired. This was news to me. So be it. I’m in pretty good shape for a retired guy. Still have most of my hair. Now I’m not complaining, I just want to explain how we’re already being impacted by Obamacare. LISTEN UP! These were both new “rules” becoming effective this year. But it’s not like Washington passing a new tax. This time they are playing with our lives. Well, that wasn’t my only problem with Obamacare. In order to get signed up for the rehab, I needed to get a referal from my “primary doctor” (who skipped town), so I found a new Primary. I did, and all was well. I’m really, really not crying in my beer. I just want to get out some first-hand info not yet public. Last week, I went to my new primary to get an RX, and guess what? They no longer cover my Medicare Advantage Insurance. I haven’t got a primary any more and my cardiologist can’t see me until I get a new primary to make a referal! Now I’m fairly healthy, a little overweight, altho I do have an anuerism and 2 more heart blockages that have to be monitored, and dealt with sometime in the future. But first, I’ve got to find a primary doctor. Remember reading how Obama didn’t steal $716 MIllion from Medicare to “pay for Obamacare” because the missing funds were covered by savings? You know how he saved? He slashed the payment paid to Primary doctors and probably a lot of other doctors to boot; and they are cutting services accordingly---or moving on (like my first GP). It’s an insideous plan Vs seniors. Now I know how the people on Wall St and the bankers felt when they were targeted by this man. (Have you listened to Levin’s Sept 5 show yet. That’s okay, you can do it later.) Any way, I’ve been refused by 2 more GPs that don’t honor my govt insurance any longer, but I’ve got a month to get ‘er done to make my appointment with my cardiologist. I figure, if I can’t find a new Primary, I’ll just go stand in line at the County hospital. Actually, I won’t stand. I’ll use my wife’s old wheel chair. Thank you, Honey. Obviously, this is purely one old man’s experience. I gotta think a lot of other people have felt the pinch of Obama by now. Maybe someone should start up a group on YahooGroups to collect information? I would but I’m already committed to getting that guy out of the White House. One more thing. Women are going too be impacted most (because generally they live longer), altho now, I guess, they’ll live shorter too. But there’s a bright side. Sandra Flute, remember her, is now able to get her birth control pills for “free”. No pay to play for her, if you get my drift. As Schmernoff Yakov would say, “what a country!” PS The Advantage Insurer's mail order drug company (Right Source) I've been using has started charging co-pays for virtually every purchase. Up until now the only co-pay was on the newer drugs, that had no generic equvilent. A flat $100, later raised to $110 per RX. Thank you Mr Obama and democRATs everywhere,.
