Their actions support prohibiting personal firearms, period. Background checks simplify 'legal' means to stop people buying guns by fiat. Limiting Magazine/Clip Capacity to some arbitrary numbers of rounds is capricious. One bullet kills people just as dead as thirty... or a hundred and thirty. People have a better chance warding off attackers with thirty rounds than with ten.
