Senate Republicans had the chance to KILL the Gang-of-Eight Amnesty bill by simply rounding up 41 votes against bringing Amnesty to the floor of the Senate... but they didn't. Instead, these 30 Republican betrayers voted to breathe new life into a massive Amnesty bill they could have killed outright. We found out today Obama is involved and actually running the senate amnesty campaign plan. The gang of 8 is working for Obama. This latest attempt to increase border security is still a no go since we know there is nothing that will make this president actually get the job done. Securing the borders is not the only problem with this amnesty bill, it's the cost and the effects it will have on the job markets which will actually be depressed because of the influx of millions of new workers . On page seven of the analysis, the CBO and JCT conclude that the “Gang of Eight” bill would drive down American workers’ wages for at least 10 yrs. “Taking into account all of those flows of new immigrants, CBO and JCT expect that a greater number of immigrants with lower skills than with higher skills would be added to the workforce, pushing down the average wage for the labor force as a whole, the report reads. On the same page, the CBO and JCT analysis found that illegal immigrants who would receive amnesty, or legalized status, would see a spike in their income while Americans’ incomes dropped. “However, CBO and JCT expect that currently unauthorized workers who would obtain legal status under S. 744 would see an increase in their average wages,” it reads. Similarly, a bullet point on page nine shows that CBO and JCT believe that demand for workers would “dampen,” meaning it would be harder for Americans to find jobs if the bill passed. There are those that say they will be paying taxes. That would be a wash since low wage workers pay no taxes and those who have children get tax credits under the government IRS redistribution of wealth plan. No gain there. There are 2 paths to citizenship First there is the Constitutional way Innigration law must be "uniform" not one for thee and another for thou! ARTICLE I SECTION 8, CLAUSE 4 and then there's the unConstitutional way, such as a new path for probationary status. It would violate the Constitutional requirement for UNIFORM immigration laws. Neither has anything to do with POTUS legitimate power to grant amnesty. And so it shall be, until the Constitution is amended or willfully violated.
