Interesting Items 7/29 -

Howdy all, a few Interesting Items for your information. Enjoy –

In this issue:

1.  Pivot
2.  Defund
3.  Yup’ik
4.  War on Women
5.  Holder
6.  Packing
7.  NSA
8.  Immigration

1.  Pivot.  What do you do when things are all coming apart, investigations
closing in, the thousands of lies, mischaracterizations and bait and
switch responses no longer providing traction?  Answer:  Road Trip!
Same as the Deltas in Animal House.  Obama is taking his perpetual
campaign on the road, this time pivoting to the economy, the very thing
he and his policies are doing so well destroying.  He is going to return to the
very thing he enjoys the most and is best at doing – bashing the rich who are
not Obama donors.  Note that he does not bash those that
support him.  Warren Buffett, whoserailroad holdings are shipping the
majority of newly produced oil rather than new pipelines is a prominent
example.  Obama is going to go after the old Kennedy nostrum that a
“rising tide floats all boats.”  And he is going to attack it by
claiming that all boats are not floated, which is only accurate if the
boat in question has a hole, is already sunk, or otherwise on the bottom on the
ocean.  Instead, Obama is going to propose that the economy
grows from the middle out, attempting to make the case that a government
supported and growing middle class grows the economy – yet another
demonstrable economic fraud that sounds nice to economic illiterates,
giving him his opening to demand more control, taxes and regulations on
businesses and the wealthy.  Note that the middle class is in the cross
hairs of the Obama – democrat machine, as a healthy and growing middle
class has no need for big government, no need for Obama, no need for
congress, and is not beholden to any of them, thus self-identifying for
its destruction.  A middle class grows via the profits and economic
growth generated by successful businesses.  It does not grow via growing the
government take of the economic pie.  It grows via making the pie
larger via increased productivity, increased entrepreneurship, increased
innovation, and most importantly it grows best when the feds stay the
Hell out of the way.  Obama intends to destroy the middle class, like
all Good Marxists.  Watch what he and his minions do.  Never believe
what he says.

2.  Defund.  Next budget fight is defunding ObamaCare via the continuing
resolution.  This may be the last best chance to shut this monster down
before the transfer payments start January 1, 2014.  Unfortunately, the
Washington establishment on the Republican side needs a backbone
transplant, as those inside the Beltway, the RNC and the Republican
consultants are not up for the fight.  This will likely result in a
government shutdown; something that Newt and the boys won in 1995
despite getting their brains bashed in by the media in 1995.  It is time to
contact your favorite or least favorite congress critters and
convince them that their political lives depend on destroying
ObamaCare.  I have 3 of them here in Alaska.  Everyone reading this has
at least three of them.  The Senate is the most in need of a backbone.
Time for the rest of us to supply it.

3.  Yup’ik.  Just in time to help the racist Eric Holder and his
(In)Justice Department in their war against the states, comes one of our
seemingly endless voting rights lawsuits here in Alaska.  This time
around, a pair of elderly Yup’ik speakers and a pair of tribal
organizations filed federal lawsuit against the State of Alaska accusing it of
violating federal voting rights laws by not providing sufficient
language assistance at the polls.  This lawsuit appears to be a dialing
for dollars gambit from Hooper Bay as a similar lawsuit was settled in
2010 with the State of Alaska agreeing to pay nearly a million dollars
and setting up an aggressive language assistance program for native
speakers.  Interesting that these native rights individuals are only
focusing on the outcome – the act of voting – rather than everything
else said and done during the campaign which leads to that decision
being made.  Perhaps they are confusing the final decision with the
process of citizenship, which is typical and to be expected of all
leftist civil rights organizations.

4.  War on Women.  This one is the most fun, as it highlights the absolute
fraud committed by democrats accusing conservatives of fighting a war on women.
Yet last week he had a couple more blunt reminders of who is
really fighting the war on women.  As a digression, remember what
Hillary Clinton did in the 1990s.  She stayed with her philandering,
lecherous husband rather than divorcing his sorry carcass, in order to
profit from her decision via his ascension to the presidency, where she
could wield real political power.  Hillary parlayed her arrangement into a
Co-Presidency and Secretary of State appointment followed by a
possible nomination in 2016.  In NYC, we have one former, disgraced
congressman running for NYC Mayor; Anthony Wiener.  He is a little
pervert, who enjoys sending young women who are not married to him
photos of his private parts.  He goes under the nom de plume of “Carlos
Danger.”  He was the leading candidate for NYC mayor to replace uber
Nanny Michael Bloomberg.  He and his wife, Hillary Clinton confidant,
and Muslim Brotherhood mole, Huma Abedin, held a “stand by your man”
press conference early last week.  The lady groveled and enjoyed the
proceedings.  The pervert vowed to continue his campaign and turned into a
(larger – is that a sex joke?) laughing stock as a result.  The
significance is that his wife gave him a pass in return to political
power she expects to wield after he is elected as mayor and whatever
lies afterwards.  Democrat women are stomped upon by their men and hang
in there all in return for a promise that they will be able to play the
victim card and wield political power in the upcoming administration.
This is what liberal women believe equality is and it demonstrates
everything wrong with them.

5.  Holder.  Obama’s political henchman and fellow racialist Eric Holder at
(In)Justice declared war on Texas last week, filing a voting rights
lawsuit .  This is in response to the July SCOTUS decision finding
Section 4 of the Voting Rights Act, the part with the metrics based on
50-year old data, unconstitutional.  Holder hopes to rope in previously
covered states with voting rights problems a half century behind us,
under remaining Voting Rights Act provisions requiring DoJ to pre-clear
any changes in voting procedures in the state.  On a political level,
this is the Obama administration trying to turn Texas blue.  On a
practical level, few in Texas have any respect for Holder, much less
anything out of Washington DC and most don’t believe they need any help
from anyone east of Texarkana, west of the Rio Grande, or north of the
Red River.  Current Texas Governor Rick Perry is not running for
reelection.  His Attorney General Greg Abbott will be running for
Governor in 2014.  Expect the war between Holder and Perry (Abbott) to
figure prominently during this campaign.

6.  Packing.  FDR is not the only democrat that tried packing the courts.
80 years later, Obama is attempting the same the same thing in the DC
Circuit with the appointment of some outrageous leftists to the Bench.
The DC Circuit is important in that it is the most senior and powerful
Circuit, and has been the source of numerous SCOTUS nominees.  Note that the
caseload in the DC Circuit does not support these appointments and
it has been decreasing over the last few years.  One such nomination is a
Cornelia Pillard, a radical feminist who has been described as worse as the
odious Stephen Reinhardt of the Ninth Circus, one of the most
overturned federal judges currently sitting on the federal bench.
Democrats in the senate really want to get this woman confirmed, and
have fast-tracked her hearings.  No need to wonder why.

testimony-evading-senators- questions.php

7.  NSA.  The NSA capture everything program dodged a bullet last week when a
conservative-led amendment to defund its cell phone data collection
program failed in the House via a 217 – 205 vote.  The 205 was comprised of
some of the most conservative and most liberal members of the
House.  It was the squishy middle that defeated this amendment.  I view
this attempt as very good news, as it demonstrates a growing agreement
between TEA Party conservatives and leftists over the
unconstitutionality of the NSA program.  They opposition will be back.
They should be supported, as the NSA information and database will be
used in precisely the same way as the IRS tax data was used by this
administration.  Kill it off.  Now.

8.  Immigration.  A few fun observations on immigration from last week.
The first one was that for every new Obama job created over the last 5
years, there have been 2 more people end up on food stamps.  This tracks nicely
the results of Spain’s successful green energy jobs program,
where every new green energy job led to the destruction of 2.2 existing
jobs.  Second story is a PEW poll that found that if they were to be
naturalized, illegals would vote for democrats at an 8:1 split.  One
caller to Limbaugh midweek noted that those “living in the shadows” are
apparently not in the shadows at all, as PEW was able to find them and
poll them.  Final story is that the House leadership plans on trotting
out their version of a DREAM Act in October; at which point the war on
the House majority by the conservative base will commence.

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better
than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not
your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed
you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye
were our countrymen."
- Samuel Adams, speech at the Philadelphia
  State House, August 1, 1776.
