The Constitution grants certain enumerated powers to the fedl govt, and no more. The fedl govt's power is limited to those written enumerated powers. The Bill of Rights re-enforces the limits the powers granted the Fedl govt. As a matter of fact, they go further than that. It also sets limits on the States in favor of the citizens. The Rights of the States and the People are limited only by the Constitutional powers ceded to the fedl govt in the Constitution ala the 9th 10th Amendments. Rights and laws don't disappear into the ethernet just because they are declared obsolete by a court or any other govt official. Constitutional laws are effective up to, and until, they are altered or removed in accordance with Article V. Under standard contract law, violations of a contract void the contract. To date, 9 of our Bill of Rights have been violated. Only the 3rd remains intact. Conclusion: Therefore, there is no longer a valid Contract between the States and the fedl govt. There is no valid controlling document justifying the existence of the USG!
