I don't know if the genesis of this article is about protecting the assets of a low ranking creditor or whatever, but I'm of the opinion that Detroit is in no danger of going bankrupt because of it's constituency. Unions, blacks and Muslims all have a special friend in the White House. And, altho I don't think it'll come to that, there's another country on the other side of the globe that is desperately trying to dump the debt owed them by the USA. What better way than buy Detroit?
