Dear Reader ,
I am afraid I have bad news to share with you. On Friday, twenty-five
Republican Senators stood
with President Obama, Harry Reid, and Chuck Schumer to help fund ObamaCare.
Unfortunately, one of those twenty-five Senators
was Texas' own, John Cornyn.
Senator Cornyn voted for ObamaCare before he voted against
it!
Senator Ted Cruz urged Senator Cornyn to block the Democrat-controlled Senate's
procedural vote to
fund ObamaCare.
Instead, Cornyn voted to end debate -- knowing full well that doing so would
weaken the position of Senators Cruz, Paul
and Lee, who wanted to force the Democrats to negotiate on defunding ObamaCare.
Friday’s vote was our best
chance to delay implementation of ObamaCare.
Why would Senator Cornyn vote against what the
majority of Texans want?
Does the Senator think we should just live with the train wreck of ObamaCare
until
he decides the time is right to fight?
If you don't like the
idea of being subjected to the job killing, unconstitutional disaster
called ObamaCare, please take a moment to remind Senator Cornyn that
this was his test of leadership and fortitude -- and he failed.
