I love my Big Horn, too but this I will say (which could be true of all saddles)...I started out using this saddle on my stallion when he was 5.  It fit him beautifully.  Then as ride season progressed and he muscled up in the shoulders, it started to pinch him.  Stupid me did not realize this until after a big stumble (a coming off kind of hard stumble).  He had never stumbled before and after switching to another saddle (an Abetta, in fact) he hasn't stumbled since.  I am sad about this because the Big Horn was so comfortable for ME!  Just don't forget about your horse's comfort, too because it could mean your own safety!  Maggie
