Salaries would vary according to area, number of horses, full-time vs part, 
etc.  When we lived in the Monterey Bay area of CA we provided a 50' 
single-wide, all utilities except phone and nothing else (no salary) for 
part time horse care for up to 50 horses.  It was a husband and wife and 
their two kids - she worked with the horses, he had an outside job.  They 
only had to work weekends if we were going to rides or out of town for 
something else.

That was about 15 years ago, maybe a bit less, and I don't know if you 
could find anyone now for that.  Here you could - people would be breaking 
down doors to get to your job!  Please, anyone who's going to reply do it 
on the list so I can see the answers!
