I'd only add that powplot has an "A" option for producing an ascii file
with the as plotted values suitable for plotting by gnuplot (or anything
else). Key point - this file contains the as plotted data.

The best (not the fastest) way is to import observed and calculated
plots from CIF file into Excel spreadsheet and then do to the plot
whatever is desired. Reflections can be shown as error but using
imported 2theta. I have template that does scaling, etc. automatically
(to some extend).

Dear Rietvelders,

Do you know how to change the settings for the powplot window in GSAS so
that the figure looks more appealing for publishing? I did find some
"options" in the menu for text size etc, but they do not work. Other
settings, like symbol, length of reflection lines, are also problematic.
Anybody can give some experience on this? Or whether it's better to
export the data and plot in other programs?

Thanks.

Sincerely,
