Dear Friends of the Rietveld community,

We, Max Terban (Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research), Evgeny Blokhin
(MPDS & Tilde MI) and Bernd Hinrichsen (BASF), have been working closely with
many colleagues at the ESRF to develop a high-throughput powder diffraction and
total scattering experiment. We would like to know if it is a commercially
viable proposition to offer access to synchrotron data without a proposal, with
a short turnaround time, no sample number limitations, and guaranteed data
quality. We would love to hear back from you via a short survey that we have
prepared:

METIS: X-ray survey https://forms.gle/aZdzPYqHF7LafiaK8

To show our great appreciation for answering these questions, we will be giving
away access to free measurements to the first 100 people completing the survey.
Each winner will receive a mail-in synchrotron measurement kit with a capacity
of 16 samples. These will be either high-resolution XRD or total scattering PDF
datasets, you choose. The results will be treated confidentially and made
available via our cloud platform METIS. The survey will close on the 31st of
July.

For those of you who would like a guaranteed trial run, we are offering a
time-limited special offer of 1600€/kit for the duration of the survey. Please
contact us for details.

Warm regards and thanks for your time,
Bernd, Evgeny, and Max
