Dear Geert, I have been looking for an application framework for web development for weeks because I was really bored by PHP developments. After a look at WebObjects, I finally discovered your framework. I spent some time in the documentation and so far I am really satisfied by what I read. Excellent work ! And I liked very much the part about continuations !
I am working on a big project with Anina (http://anina.net/index.html) and we are considering using your technology. I would like to ask you a question related to the hosting problem. Initially, we are going to use a cheap host. It is easy to find ones supporting PHP, cheap and with a very good service. But, for Java I don't know any. I fear that cheap solutions may not be efficient ones. Do you know of a few hosts in shared environment and supporting Java servers ? If you know some, I think you should put the information on your web site (like Rails guys are doing for hosts supporting Ruby). When people are investigating a technology, they may reject it not because it is bad but because they don't know if they will be able to deploy it easily. I think that it would help in the adoption of your technology. Thank again for your good job.
