No, looking at the code it seems to be a hardcoded behaviour for now. I've 
created a request on our tracker to amend this:

It seems to be that I have this module turned off in pulse audio, but 
then Ring enables it automagically when getting a call.

But it sounds worse with the echo module on in other apps that I know of 
that have that option.

Is there a way to disable this behaviour, I know Teamspeak 3 has a 
checkbox for echo enable/disable...
