Hi,
We just merged a patch to add NAT-PMP support. For now it is only on
GNU/linux, but support for other platforms should come once we merge
the contrib patch.

NAT-PMP is a protocol for configuring port forwarding. We already have
support for this via the UPnP protocol; however our testing showed that
NAT-PMP is usually faster and more reliable on routers which support both.

NAT-PMP support is optional and requires libnatpmp. If Ring is compiled
with both NAT-PMP and UPnP support then the NAT-PMP protocol will take
precedence.
