Yeah. We had the same problem with the Linux Rio500 Utils
(rio500.sourceforge.net) One of the team members also had to RMA his Rio.
We posted a warning in our README file. Diamond was quick to RMA the Rio,
so it is apparently a known problem (and a nasty one at that!)
