CDex is a ton faster and not noticably less exact. I decided to trade a bunch of my time feeding disks for an occasional need to re-rip with EAC. Now a days, I use grip, because my main day-to-day work is done on Linux. And because I only buy a couple of CDs at a time, so it isn't the factory that I had doing all 700. And I can always do all the hard work of switching the KVM back to the windows box and use EAC if I find that the easy/fast rip wasn't good enough. Besides, I claim that I'm only partly audiophile. I don't have $20,000 amps and $5,000 wires -- Pat http://www.pfarrell.com/music/slimserver/slimsoftware.html _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
