I didn't rip DVD Audio disk, but I ripped the soundtrack from a concert
DVD. The first attempt I ripped at 48khz (normal DVD speed) to WAV and
then converted to FLAC. What I got playing through my squeezebox was
s---l---o---w---e---d down (about 10% slow since normal CD speed is
44.1khz) so James Taylor sounded like Boris Karloff. Somewhere in the
process the samples per second was lost. I didn't care too much to find
which step it was lost since the software I used offered the option, I
re-ripped the soundtrack at 44.1khz. I don't know if something like
this will come into play for DVD Audio disks.
