A couple of ways to do this: 1) Use the 'zapped' Playlist: when you are playing a song you want to add to the Playlist - 'zap' it to add it to the 'zapped' Playlist. When you've finished, save the zapped playlist with a new name.
2) Run the Playlist on the Player and add the tracks you like to the current Playlist. Then save it. I use the web UI to do these (fishbone skin is good), but I think you can do it equally well from the player interface (I just don't remember how you zap a track).
