Didn't realize you were also running SlimServer on the ReadyNAS.  Yeah,
it takes a bit of work to play WMA from a Linux installation.  You might
be able to get Infrant to include up the necessary software and make the
config changes in their next release of SlimServer for the ReadyNAS, but
I don't know if you can count on it.  So yes, your best bet is to just
go ahead and transcode the whole collection.

I'm not so sure how the whole ReadyNAS-running-SlimServer thing is
going to work in the long run.  It'll be interesting to see what
Infrant does with subsequent releases of SlimServer.  Right now all you
get is a very generic sort of installation, with no ability to load
plugins.  I don't even think they included all of the skins, for some
unexplained reason.

I'm also considering a ReadyNAS for file storage, but doubt I'll be
trying to run SlimServer on the box.
