I've just started trying to use this combo, after an iTunes ugrade blew away ALL my album/artist info (nice to have 3600 untagged songs, eh!). Here's what I've been doing:
Ripping with EAC as WAV and getting freedb info on the album Encoding with FLAC Putting tracks in a folder with album name, in a folder withh artist name Rescanning with SlimServer SlimServer is not recognizing the info EAC picked up from freedb. What am I doing wrong? Secondly, while EAC appears to be able to incorporate FLAC as a step, that doesn't work. I have to manually encode as a second step. Any thoughts?
