Has anyone tried this? I've been experimenting recording some of my extensive vinyl collection using a 24bit ADC, to make some of the albums available on my Squeezeboxes.
The raw WAV files play fine & sound great, but the FLAC files stutter on playback & slow down. The SB's buffer is full, so I suspect an encoding issue. I've used the standard Windoze Flac front end and tried a command line encode with the --bps=24 switch, all to no avail. I'd be grateful for any ideas or suggestions anyone may have. I'm sure it's a command line issue, as when playing the WAV's Slimserver is converting to FLAC! Andy. -- Andrew L.
