Interesting - yet I feel that it can't be the encoding, per se, since all I did to get Slimserver to play the files was change the titles of the songs.
what OS are you running? I'm running Slimserver on a Windows 2000 Professional box. I also have a laptop running XP, onto which I previously installed Slimserver.
