I'm not sure about his reason but I know that I have alot of .shn's because alot of live (legally traded) music is still being distributed in .shn format. I will probably eventually convert all to flac but if you torrent then it's easier to re-seed the same show that you downloaded rather than converting it. I do not own a SB yet but I'm glad to know that it supports .shn, do you have to have a plugin to do this? I did not find .shn listed at:
