To clarify a little - when streaming to something like winamp any file you play will be converted to mp3, the bitrate limit field sets what bitrate to use for that conversion. Additionally, when streaming to a SlimSevices client (SB or Softsqueeze) you have the option of streaming in lossless format - which is what the "None" option does.
