Hm, I played around a little with the mplayer.sh script (and deleted the "Local File:" part at the top) but it doesn't quite work with .m4a files.
After adding some debug output I can see that the script gets started and immediately quits again for a couple of times (2-4), then it plays the file to the end. But when I skip, it won't kill the decoding process. I wasn't able to find the reason why the mplayer process gets killed/quits on startup. You hear some clicking noise, so it seems that it starts to decode. Perhaps it has something to do with the /fd/3 "hack" on FreeBSD? -> http://forums.slimdevices.com/archive/index.php/t-11457.html When playing and switching RA streams the script works just fine. So it would be very nice when you could give me a pointer how to patch faad. -- marcoppc ------------------------------------------------------------------------ marcoppc's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2860 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=16795 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
