Thanks. By the way, I posted my original message twice, because of that misprint "Rags" in the title. I had hoped that when I edited the message it to correct this it would be a true edit (replacing the old text with the new) but instead it made a new post.
I'm sure Vorbis/FLAC tags are what I want. The problem is that there isn't a Mac program that will provide FLAC tags from the folder structure and file names of already existing FLAC files, whereas this can be done for ID3 tags. This seems to be a place where Windows is better than Mac.
