Nobody here seems to mention the fact that Windows has some limitations when it comes to maximum path length, which is about 250 characters.
Many people accept the default path to their music collection, which would be something like C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\My Music\... With complex album, artist and/or song name this limit could be reached. My guess is that deletion of any characters in the file name would have helped the OP.
