You're welcome! I needed to do this and spent hours searching through Hydrogenaudio to get all this stuff. I was getting a piece here and a piece there, but never the whole picture.
It was all connected to my installation lacking the CLI encoder. This seems to be quite rare and it was really hard to find a fix. I figured I'd pass on what I discovered. :-) Now, of course, for SB playback you should encode in FLAC using EAC. If I'm ripping a FLAC version I'll also rip an MP3 version with the same preset as above just because EAC is so powerful and I have the CD right there in the drive. I only need to use foobar2000's encoder if: 1. I have an older, existing FLAC 2.
