Cooo-oooo-oooool!!!!
Just in a nick of time. I've discovered how to
use ReplayGain with FLAC encoding called by EAC,
but I was trying to get ReplayGain working with
MP3 encoding called by EAC.
I've discovered that LAME doesn't contain
ReplayGain, unlike FLAC, so it can't be called
through a command line argument.
MAREO will can do this though, through MP3Gain.
And the fact that it can encode multiple formats
simultaneously saves another step! Although
encoding one at a time is straining my processor
as it is, encoding two at a time and putting
ReplayGain calculations for both encode processes
on top of that will push it to the limit.
You're right, MAREO looks pretty dense. But since
EAC allows profiles I can experiment with it until
I get it working right and not lose the work I've
done already.
Thanks, joncourage!
