I have ripped about 400 CDs to Apple Lossless (with error checking) in preparation for my SB3 installation. I read that you can just point Slimserver to your iTunes music directory.
Then I read that Apple Lossless is converted by Slimserver/SB3 to FLAC on the fly during playback? Is this true? Wondering if there is a Windows based utility that can convert Apple Lossless to FLAC. Please don't tell me to use EAC, I dislike the interface as well as the elitest mentality of many of its proponents.
