Microsoft does not like FLAC and will not natively support it. You have to use 3rd party tools to get Windows Media Player to use it. Someone mentioned something about the Directshow Filter: http://www.illiminable.com/ogg/ If you can get it to work with Windows XP, it will probably work with Windows Media Center. I don't know anything about Windows Media Center, but I'm sure it uses Windows Media Player. Since it will be a cold day in Hell when I attach a full-fledged PC (replete with its noisy fans, noisy hard drives, mouse, BIOS and errors) to my home theatre system, I'd vote for another Squeezebox and Tivo, but that's just me. -- ___________________________________ Mark Lanctot ___________________________________ __________________________________________________________ Find your next car at http://autos.yahoo.ca _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
