I suppose that I could make my own workaround by writing a script to
copy the TPE1 data into TPE2-4 when those tags aren't already filled.

But...that brings up another thing.  Isn't TIT2 the "song title"?  The
ID3v4 spec says that TIT1 is the "larger category of sounds".
